I have developed a unique style of textile art, which bursts out of the frame with life, colour and vitality.

The techniques I use to achieve this include fabric dyeing, batik, hand and machine embroidery, hand made felt and applied pieces.

The many layers are what makes my textile art so distinctive and draws the viewer into the scenes.

Admirers and collectors of my art work can be found around the world, from Russia, to the USA.

I have exhibited internationally, and have had many solo shows around Great Britain.

My UK exhibitions include Barbican Library City of London, Gallery Not, London, Foyles, London W1, Upfront Gallery Cumbria, Institute of Physics, London W1, Visa International London W1, Raybel Barge St. Katherine Dock. I have also exhibited with many art and textile groups.

I have had work accepted for the Society of Women Artists exhibition at Westminster Halls and the Mall Gallery

I have given workshops and put up a display of my work in Denmark and Norway.

My book, The Art of Embroidered Flowers, commissioned and published by Search Press Ltd. shows many of the techniques and methods I use. This is selling well in the UK and abroad, having been translated into Russian and Norwegian. It was put onto Waterstone Bookshops Best Selling Craft Book list.

I have also been featured in many magazines including Wildlife Art (USA), Needlecraft, Workbox, Sewing World, Stitch, with the EG, Classic Stitches, Woman's Weekly, Handarejdsbladet (Denmark), Patchwork Professional (Germany), Stitch@Home (Netherlands), Stitch n Bear (South Africa), Fun (Germany) Familien (Norway) producing projects and articles for many of them.

I have been Artist in Residence at Missenden Abbey and regularly teach there.

I can be seen on Talking Threads www.countrychannel.tv

I have just completed a 90 minute DVD Inspired Textile Landscapes produced by www.colouricious.com.

I hope that the excitement and pleasure I get from producing my unique and joyous art shows though, and that my work gives as much pleasure to the viewer.
