1948 – Photography.
1950 - Academy of Fine Arts in Bruges, Malines and Antwerp (Belgium).
1967 until end 1970 - Lectures with sonorised colour slideshows
(about several regions in Europe and Great Britain) - not a documentary,
but a poetical approach of the region.
1970 - Teacher at Craft workshops - "Enamelling on copper", "Photography", "Making
of sonorised colour slideshows".
1972-1991 - full-time photography – from the shot until
the finishing touch.
2004 – organizing batik workshops.
1970 until today - practising of different disciplines : silver
jewellery, watercolour, batik, turned wooden objects and realizing
poetic films.
Solo and group-exhibitions in Europe and the UK with photography,
jewellery, watercolour, batik and wooden objects. First prizes
and distinctions.
Several exhibitions - individual and in group - in different places
in Belgium, Europe and the UK with photographs, watercolours, batik
and jewellery.
1999 - Participated at the "International Batik Gathering
- Now and Then" in Ghent, Belgium.
2003 - Organizer of the international batik exhibition “Batik
2003...art in movement” in Ghent (Belgium).
2005 – selected “World Batik Conference” in
Boston, USA.
2006 – selected “Batik transitions – From classic
to contemporary” organized by the Batik Guild at the occasion
of the 20th anniversary of the Batik Guild UK.
