Jill's freelance work has included a variety of exhibitions in the UK, Belgium and the US. She has featured in the textile area at Art in Action, Waterperry, Oxon for three years. She has lectured at many large shows including Olympia and Alexandra Palace. In 1999 she juried the Art show at the International Guild of Silk Painters in Washington DC. Jill runs courses in batik and the use of wax in silk painting. She also creates ranges of hand painted silks, including sarongs, scarves, shawls, fabric lengths, banners, wall hangings, pictures and cards. Her design themes are mostly based on natural forms and she specialises in resist techniques.
