Fiona Stanley

I work between Edinburgh and Ardnamurchan, inspired by the plants, animals and landscapes of Scotland. I paint with dyes rather than use the more traditional dip-dying batik techniques and love the boldness and spontanaity batik brings. I usually batik on re-cycled cotton, or on cotton rag paper. I frame and mount some of my images, use for original cards or photocards or for cushions and hangings. I take commissions of favourite views and animals.
