Wang Yan: A modern batik artist

I'm from Shanghai, China. There is a batik art studio in Shanghai. The business scope of the studio includes teaching colored batik, artistic creation and cultural and creative products. I have been engaged in batik art creation for 12 years up to 2025. Over the past 12 years, I have not only created batik art on cotton, linen, silk and wool, but also on paper, wood and cowhide.

I love colored batik. It was the job I chose right after graduation and has never changed. I will never change it in the future. Colored batik has made me self-satisfied and confident. I hope to pass on this feeling to every friend who loves colored batik.
